Purpose of this blog.

This is the first and possibly the last post that will ever be made in this blog (aside from the final post which will state just how much heart humanity actually has) as this blog is only meant to see just how much compassion people really have. So here goes...

A few years ago my Aunt Marylou was killed by a drunk driver. I know, it happens all the time, it's become the norm, whatever. Here's the thing, my Aunt Marylou was the sole parent (by divorce) of a sweet little boy named Calvin.

Calvin, my cousin, is an autistic boy. If my Aunt Marylou were still alive she could tell you his/her whole story, but here is what I do know. Marylou spent every moment she had when she wasn't taking care of Calvin trying to understand and further progress what is currently known about autism. She loved Calvin so much and would not have given him up for the world.

I believe in her cause... I want the best life possible for Calvin, who is the most amazingly smart boy I have ever met. I mean, he was doing multiplication by the time he was 3, and exponential multiplication by the time he was 5 (if not sooner). He learned the read before he could walk and probably knows everything there is to know. He just isn't good with people outside of his family, or people who already knows very well. Probably his only downfall.

Okay, so what is the purpose of this blog? To see if people have any heart really. I want to see how much money can be raised in 3 months, plenty of time for people to discover, and donate to, this cause. I have a goal, although it may seem unreachable, and it is $30,000. Whether or not this goal is met, it does not really matter. A huge portion of this money will be donated to an autism foundation of my choice (yes I already know which one). And I will report which one when this drive is over.

This is my only attempt, my first and last attempt, at doing this. I am not going to beg for this money, as I feel it is a duty of every person alive to contribute to this cause. If you do not agree, maybe you just do not have any compassion for this little boy whom I think of all the time. Whether you donate 1 penny or the whole $30,000, every donation is a world away from nothing.

Thank you for viewing this blog, and thank you even more to those that donated, you mean the world to me, and you might just have made a difference.

I love you Calvin, and thank you Aunt Marylou for everything you have done, you are missed by everyone who has ever known you, I just hope you are in heaven looking down on us and praying.
